Harvest Gold Organics is committing a minimum of $1,000 or the replanting efforts of One Tree Planted, donated in honor of our customers, through Dec 31, 2020. Harvest Gold Organics Premium Soil Conditioner is certified organic with uniquely shaped silica and nine other minerals that plants love. The previous waste rock tailings of a historic gold mine, abandoned for years, are sustainably recycled and purified into the natural soil conditioner. “By turning forgotten mining waste into our product, we’re not only helping families and businesses to grow better, we are introducing a sustainable resource for cleaner growing everywhere. And we are cleaning up that mining site at the same time,” Jones said.
Planting trees is one of the best ways to combat the damaging effects of climate change. Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Under the direction of One Tree Planted, trees are planted by local partner organizations and community volunteers in areas where there has been deforestation.
One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. The group plants trees to restore nature and biodiversity. It also raises awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses an easy-to-implement sustainability solution, and motivates people to do something positive for the environment.
